Our NETx LaMPS module provides lots of server items that can be used in the visualization. A typical use case is the visualization of the fault items of the KNX/DALI gateways and its DALI devices. To provide such a visualization, you can insert control elements like buttons, mult-pictures, … that indicate the fault state of all DALI devices. If you have hundreds or thousands of DALI devices in your project, visualizing the fault items of each DALI device For some uses cases, it is desired to show lots of information like item values or the quality of items in a table view. If you have hundreds items that shall be displayed at once, inserting a control element like a label for each item will take a lot of time and effort – especially if you would like to provide addition elements for triggering DALI tests or visualizing test results.
To make to task easier for you, our visualization editor contains dedicated extension for the LaMPS module. Using this extension module, you can generate a table view based on a MS Excel file. Starting with BMS Platform R2 Build 2066, you can find this extension in menu “Modules > LaMPS”Tools”.

As you can see, there are two different sub categories: Devices and Gateways. The category Devices is used to visualize the information at device level i.e. for each device you will get separate control elements. The category Gateways on the other hand visualized at gateway level i.e. you will get dedicated control elements for each gateway. For each gateway, two layouts are available: Table and Array. The layout Table shows the control elements in a table format – paging for a high number elements is supported too. The layout Array on the other hand provides a list of elements that can be placed anywhere on the visualization page (e.g. on a floor plan)Using this module you can generate table views automatically.
