The BMS Platform provides ability to backup and import item values from Item Tree. The exported file can be open with Excel.

Export

...

Exporting item values from any folder or sub-folder either by choosing the folder using mouse Rightright-Click and select "Export items values to excel" or from Tools menu in Studio and choose "Backup all item values to excel"

item values File The export file will include the :

  • Item ID
  • Description
  • Value

Export only KNX

...

Only KNX item values can be exported without any other item values. In KNX menu in Studio choose "Backup all KNX values to Excel file" 

Import

...

Importing item values from Tools menu in Studio then Advanced and choose "Load Item values from Excel file". Select the excel file (All item values or only KNX item values) and all item values will be updated with the backup values.
