Trending data are stored in the SQL database of the BMS Platform.

The Raw values dialog provides functions to view, filter, import, export, and delete trending data.

To open the Raw values dialog, open the Trending app and click the Raw values button image2020-4-15_13-28-24.pngImage Modified from the toolbar.

Import data

To import data to the current trending click the Import button Image Modified from the toolbar. The following image shows the import dialog:

  • Click the Download Excel Template button to download an empty excel file, where to enter data for a later data import.
  • Click the Select File button to select the file containing the data for the import.

After selecting the import file, the preview dialog appears:

The dialog shows:

  • number of records found in the import file.
  • the option to update existing data:
    Enable this option to update already existing data in the database.
    Disable this option to insert the data into the database. In this case duplicate records may appear in the database.
  • the option to set a time offset: 
    The timestamps of in the export file are stored in UTC local time. If the current timezone of the computer running the import is UTC + 2 hours, select UTC +02:00 to get the correct timestamps againBefore storing the data in the database the import subtracts the UTC-offset from the export timestamps to get the timestamps in UTC. Timestamps in the database are stored in UTC.

Click the Import button to import the data into the database.

Export data

To export data of the current trending click the Export button Image Modified from the toolbar.

According to the current filter, data will be exported to to an xlsx file.

Clear the date filter to export all data.

Delete data

To delete data of the current trending, tick the data rows to delete and click the Delete button from the toolbar.
