The Core Server supports all KNX data point types (DPT) as defined in the KNX standard. In addition, it is able to split up all complex KNX KNX DPTs. By the means of a configuration file non-standard DPTs can also be used in the telegram definition.
Since these DPTs may change in the KNX specification or non-standard DPTs needs need to be added, the KNX DPT Definitions are available as an extension. More information about KNX DPTs within our server can be found here.

The KXN DPT definitions are provided as an extension and is are included within the default setup.
To update the KNX DPT definitions extension, open the Core Studio and shutdown the Core Server. Afterwards, start the Extension Manager via the menu menu Extensions > Manager > Start Extension Manager ....

Within the dialog, change to category "Core" and change to tab "Updates". If there is an update for the KNX DPT Definitions available, select it and press the the Update button. After having updated the KNX DPT Definitions, close the Core studio and reopen it. The new KNX DPT Definitions can now be found within the the column "Data Type" within the KNX Telegram Definitions.
