If you need the support tools to analyze a problem within the NETx BMS Server but you do not have an Internet connection on the PC where the NETx BMS Server is running, installing the support tools via the extension manager will not work. To solve this problem, you can install them offline:
- Download the following ZIP file from a PC where Internet connection is available:
https://www.netxautomation.com/pub/SupportTools.zip - Copy the ZIP file to the PC where the NETx BMS Server is running and copy it to installation directory of the NETx BMS Server and extract it:
C:\Program Files (x86)\NETxAutomation\NETx.BMS.Server.2.0 - The Windows Defender of new Windows systems may block .exe and .dll files that are downloaded via the Internet. Therefore, they have to be "unlocked".
- Open a Windows Explorer and navigate to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\NETxAutomation\NETx.BMS.Server.2.0\XIO\PlugMan\plugins\01_SupportTools - Right-click on "SupportTools.dll" and select "Properties"
- Click the checkbox "Unblock" and close the dialog
- Repeat the same steps for the file "NetworkSniffer.dll"
