The controls in the web look different from those in the editor

Symptoms

In some occasions, the controls configured in the Visualization Editor look different when accessing the project from a web client, i.e. a web browser or the Vision App.

Cause

The Visualization Editor and web applications work with totally different technologies. The underlying libraries are fundamentally different. As a consequence, the resulting renderings of control shapes can differ. This also applies to fonts: In a web application, the final decision which font is used is made by the browser and therefore outside the application's scope.

Resolution

There is no known technical resolution to this effect. We always seek to keep the discrepancies as low as possible, but in some cases this is not possible.
