Create chart

Name *

The name of the chart.

Description

Chart description.

Chart type

Normal (default): Show trendings in chart. 

Period comparison: Show trendings in chart to compare the data of different periods (defined by the used range and the Offset in the added trendings).

Default range

Default range to view in chart view: Day, Week, Month, Year, Custom.

Labels

When enabled, each data point in the chart will get a small label, containing the value.

Aggregation

Enabled (default): Aggregated values appear in the chart. The aggregated value is the average value for a certain period.

Disabled: All values appear in the chart - without aggregation. However, if more than 1000 values would be shown, aggregation gets activated automatically.

The Aggregation setting of the trendings are ignored.

Trendings

Click the 

 button to add one ore more trendings to the chart. You can also add trendings by dragging them from the left item tree to the right configuration panel.

Click the 

 button to delete one or more trendings in the chart.

Please note: If you add trendings with names that have more than 31 characters, an export to an Excel files will truncate the names of the sheets (sheets have the names of trendings), since Excel sheets allow only names with max. 31 characters.

Y axes

Click the 

 button to add one ore more Y axis to the chart.

Click the 

 button to delete one or more Y axis in the chart.

Trending

The chosen trending.

Y axis

An Y axis that can be defined in the lower section.

Type *

Defines how the data gets displayed in the diagram.

Color *

Defines with which color the data gets displayed.

Decimals *

Number of decimals places shown in labels in the diagram. Will be also used for values shown in table view.

Offset *

Only visible if Chart type is set to Period comparison. the value determines which period gets shown relatively to the currently shown range. That is, if the range is set to Month and the diagram currently shows values of March, the values of February will be shown if the Offset is set to -1. The range is the one that is used while the diagram or table is shown.

* The same setting in the trending configurations are ignored.
