Getting started

After check in the hotel guest shall receive a printout by the receptionist which has a QR code on it. This code contains every information needed to open or install the NETx Vision app and connect to the visualization of the guests room. If NETx Vision is not yet installed, the user will be redirected to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. The only prerequisite is for the guest to be connected to the hotel Wi-Fi.

If the NETx Vision app is already installed, scanning of the QR code can also be performed within the app.

Connecting to the visualization

While NETx Vision is connecting to the hotel room visualization the app will show the configured hotel logo in front of the specified background color. This allows hotels to customize the user experience of guests when using Bring Your Own Device features.

After a successful connection hotel guests can open the NETx Vision app to control their hotel room at any time.

Sharing the current profile

By opening the slide out menu in NETx Vision and clicking "Share configuration", the hotel guest can share the room visualization configuration with other guests in the same room. The amount of devices which can connect to a hotel room visualization is not limited.

Check out

After checking out the guest will no longer have access to the room visualization. The goodbye message as configured in the system configuration will be shown to the guest once.
