Introduction

The purpose of the Diagnosis App is to provide a maintenance interface to the Core Server.

It includes functions like accessing the Item Tree, showing the current state of all gateways (Gateway Manager) and accessing to the log files of the Core Server and the Web Manager.

Item Tree

The Items page shows the item tree and the item properties as in the BMS Core Studio.

Right-click an item to raise its context menu.

Gateway Manager

The Gateway Manager shows the status and properties of the gateways configured in the project.

Core Server logs

This page provides access to the Core Server log files.

By default the current log file is shown. The drop-down box showing the file name allows to select any previous log file.

Entries of the log file can be sorted or filtered by clicking the column headers.

Each user login and logout is written to the log file. The log entry contains the username, the IP address, the port and the application (Web Visualization, Web Manager).

Core Server Click the Diagnosis icon on the dashboard of the Web Manager to open the Diagnosis app.
