Tutorial: login to web visualization via cloud

It is possible to login to your web visualization via our Cloud portal. This is even possible if the local BMS Platform installation is behind a firewall and / or the local BMS Platform does not have a public IP address.

To use this remote cloud access, the BMS Platform instance must be registered in our cloud account. For more information see https://netxautomation.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CLOUD/pages/818086122 .

Afterwards, the BMS Platform instance must be assigned to a valid cloud project. More information can be found here https://netxautomation.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CLOUD/pages/1558708227 .

Then you have to request a remote access URL from the cloud portal. Login to the Web Manager and navigate to Visualization Management > Access Tokens. Create a new token or select an existing one. If your local BMS Platform instance is connected to the cloud portal and if a valid cloud project is assigned to it, a text field Cloud Endpoint and a button Push to Cloud will appear. Press the button generate a new remote access URL.

After having pressed the button, the local BMS Platform installation will request a new web visualization tunnel from the cloud portal. The resulting remote access URL is shown in the text field. You can use this URL from anywhere to access your web visualization.
