Cloud Projects
Within our cloud portal, you can define so called Cloud Project. A cloud project links a server instance to dedicated functionality. An example is the use of our GRMS module which requires an active Cloud Project for the running server instance.
A cloud project is linked to a server and its workspace. Optionally, if a backup server is used in your NETx project, the backup server and its workspace can be linked to the cloud project too.
A cloud project definition is required for dedicated functionality with the NETx Server. An example is the use of GRMS. Due to technical reasons, a NETx server instance must be linked to a cloud project – otherwise the GRMS functionality is not available.
If a NETx Server is instance is successfully linked to a Cloud Project, the name of the Cloud Project and its unique ID can be seen within the server item tree. The Cloud Connector app provides two server items that show the name and the ID:
If these two server items are UNCERTAIN, the server instance is not connected to a Cloud Project.
