Web Manager permissions

The Web Manager uses a role-based authorization mechanism.

There are four different roles:

Super Administrator
Administrator
Manager
Viewer

For each role, app permissions are predefined. These permissions define what a user or group is allowed to do within an app.

The role based permissions can be manually overwritten on the Web Manager > User Management > Apps page.

In complex projects it's useful to add users to groups and define the permissions based on the group. This makes the user management much easier.
