PC based BMS visualization clients (both editor and/or runtime) are using the proprietary network communication protocol VNET. VNET is a TCP/IP based protocol that uses TLS for securing the connection between the visualization client and the NETx BMS Core Server. For authenticating both communication partners, a TLS connection password and TLS connection PIN has to be specified.

The configuration settings of the VNET interface are defined within the server configuration.

On the client side, the same settings have to be used.
