To create a Trending, choose from add button Trending. When you create a new Trending, you will see the Trending configuration in the Detail View.
Trending an item is how often or how frequently has this item been used. Trending is used later on in Chart to give a graphical representation of this Trending.
The following picture shows the default form to create a trending.

. All: Log all value changes of the item. Average: Log the average value of the item. COV: Log the value of the item when it changes. Delta: Log the delta (difference) of the item's value. Max: Log the maximum value of the item. Meter sampling: Log data in a predefined interval between 5 minutes and 1 hour. Min: Log the minimum value of the item. Pulse: Log the number of value changes of the item. Sampling: Log data in a definable interval. Depending on the selected type additional form fields may appear. | ||
Max age [days] | Max age of trending data in days. 0 (default): Ignore age of data. Select a number how many days to keep the data of the trending. Older data will be deleted. | |

Y axis scaling | Dynamic (default): The system will define the best scaling depending on the values. This is a relative representation of the values. 0-based: All trending values appear in an absolute representation. | |

Aggregation | Enabled (default): Aggregated values appear in the chart. The aggregated value is the average value for a certain period. Disabled: all values appear in the chart - without aggregation. |
