The BMS Client Editor does not start

Problem

When you double-click a visualization project in the BMS Studio the BMS Client Editor will not appear.

Solution

In rare occasions the installer fails to set up the BCE properly. Try re-installing following these steps:

  1. Make sure you have installed all pending Windows Updates.
  2. Restart the BMS Server installer and choose teh repair function. Eventually, you should have the BMS Client Editor installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\NETx Automation.
  3. If the problem still persists, uninstall the BMS Client Editor (Windows Control Panel / Remove Programs) and re-install it from C:\Program Files (x86)\NETx Automation\NETx.BMS.Server.2.0\Setup\SMART_VOYAGER_ADDON.exe.
