Tutorial: Edit a library block with variables

In this tutorial we assume you already have a block with variables in the library and you want to make changes to that block.

  1. Select the block in the library and drag it onto a visualization page. The Edit Block Variables window appears. Click the button Leave variables in block to preserve the variables in the inserted block.
  2. Make your changes to the block.
  3. To re-add the block to the library, select the elements and right-click. From the context menu, select Add to library ... and save the block under the same name in the library.
  4. Since a block with the same name already exists in the library you will be asked wether or not to overwrite. Select Yes to replace the block in the library with the current elements from the page.
