Emergency test mapping definitions

Emergency test mapping definitions

The information provided in this table is required for the LaMPS module to execute emergency tests of DALI devices.

There are 2 basic ways how KNX/DALI gateways handle communication objects for DALI device emergency testing:

  • Case 1: Communication objects exist per DALI device. The respective group addresses have to be provided for each DALI device.
This applies to the following gateway types:

    • Gira/Insta DALI Gateway Plus REG 218000

    • Hager Dali gateway KNX TYA670D

    • Jung KNX DALI-Gateway Plus 2098 REGHE

    • Ipas DaliControl

    • MDT DaliControl IP Gateway

    • Merten KNX DALI-Gateway

    • Schneider KNX DALI-Gateway

    • Siemens KNX/DALI Gateway N 141/03, N 141/21, N 141/31

    • Siemens KNX/DALI Gateway N 141/02

  • Case 2: Communication objects exist per DALI line. That is, LaMPS will address the DALI devices on writing. The required group addresses have already been provided in the gateway configuration. In order to treat DALI devices as emergency lights, they have to be mentioned in this table.

This applies to all KNX/DALI gateways that are not listed in case 1.
