In the Diagnosis app click the Item Tree button  on the left sidebar to open the Item Tree page. 

This page shows the item tree and the item properties as in the BMS Core Studio.

Content

The page consists of two areas:

  • The item tree is shown on the left hand side.

  • Properties of the selected item appear on the right hand side.

Use the search bar on top to find items.

Right-click an item to raise its context menu.

Write Item Value

Writes a value to a server item and optionally sends the value to the field device.

Read Item Value

Issues a read telegram to the selected server item. A possible response is handled asynchronously.

Reset Item Value

Resets the server item’s value. Item quality is set to UNCERTAIN.

Copy Item Path

Copies the server item's path to the clipboard.

Track value changes of a Server Item

When the value of a Server Item was changed, the system tracks the source this change and writes this information to the Source property of the Server Item.
