Create and configure a NETx Vision profile

Once the NETx Vision App is installed and started, the Profiles page will appear. Click the Add button in the upper right corner to open the New Profile page.

Name | Configuration name. Must be unique. |
Basic Authentication | Enable if Basic Authentication is required for external websites. |
Main Server | |
Host | IP address or host name of the main server |
Port | TCP port of the web server as configured in Web Manager's config.xml, key HTTP or HTTPS depending on the TLS setting below |
TLS | enable to use HTTPS instead HTTP |
Timeout (s) | connection timeout in seconds |
Login Timeout (s) | login timeout in seconds |
Visualization | |
Username | Username as configured in the Web Manager user management |
Password | Password of the user above |
Device | The name of the visualization device as configured in the Web Manager. Tap the Get available devices button to search the web server for known visualization devices using the provided connection details. |
Main/Backup | |
Enabled | Enable to use a backup server. Tap the Auto config backup server button to obtain the backup server configuration from the already configured main server. |

Make sure the mobile device is able to connect to the NETx server (host and TCP port).
In most cases the mobile device will use a WiFi connection which has to be configured before using the NETx Vision App.
If the mobile device is equipped with a SIM card, it can connect to the NETx server via mobile data connection or via WiFi.
