Overview

The CharPMS interface can be used to retrieve information from the hotel management system Char. Via this interface, check-in/check-out and information about the room status can be retrieved. 

In order to use the CharPMS interface, an extra license is needed. In addition, each used hotel room decreases the number of available items by 5. For testing purposes, the "Demo" license includes the CharPMS interface.

Installation

The CharPMS interface is provided as an extension and is not included within the default setup.

To install the CharPMS interface, open the Core Studio and shutdown the Core Server. Afterwards, start the Extension Manager via the menu Extensions > Manager > Start Extension Manager ....

Open

Within the dialog, select "CharPMS" and press the Install button. After having installed the CharPMS interface, close the Core studio and reopen it. Within the Core Studio you will find a new sub menu CharPMS within the menu Modules. It contains entries for all definitions that are necessary for the configuration of the CharPMS interface.
